It was their love for their dogs, commitment to training, and opportunities to hunt and train on wild birds, that brought Emmet and Ana Sasser to Montana in 2021. When they found the former “Countryside Kennels” in East Helena, they knew they were home. This lovely location and its community are the perfect place for Emmet’s vision of a premier space for dog boarding and training, with further plans to develop a facility where dogs can showcase their skills in hunting for the sheer joy of the sport

At MTK, we offer our boarding clients a safe and caring place to stay while you travel. We want your pets to love coming here so you never worry about them while you are away.

For our training clients, we are focused on building a Champion mindset. No two dogs are exactly alike; therefore, we tailor all of our care and training to the individual dog and its behavior. Your success with your dog at home, out socially, or in the field, is the hallmark of our service.

Montana training and Kennels is an amazing facility for your fur babies. The owners as well as the staff are very friendly and care for all the animals as their own. We have boarded our 2 dogs at the kennel as well as have them groomed on a regular basis. Our pets have always been well cared for and loved especially by Donna. I highly recommend this kennel.

Montana Training and Kennels is a fantastic facility for your pets. We recently boarded my dogs at the kennels and they were well cared for and very comfortable in their indoor to outside kennel. The facility is clean and secure. While there, my bird dogs received great "in field" pointing and retriever training and are now regularly training with Emmet in preparation for the upcoming hunting season. I highly recommend this kennel.
